Hello! I have been blogging about community and life for over a year now! By day, I am a Case-Aide at Leland House. You see, I moved back to Chicago a year and a half ago so I could live here. "Here" is in Uptown where many people are homeless or living in poverty. It is not fair, and though I know I can't save the world, I do know that I can make a difference! Maybe I can make waves online, too.

I desire that others know about the strength there is in a community of people who believe in the same thing. Merriam Webster says that a community is a unified body of individuals. I live in a community of people who stand together to serve the community of Uptown. Can I tell you about it?
