On Painting: I have always been inspired by the natural landscape - the way sky and land seem to collide; the way man impacts on his surroundings; and the way light impacts on everything. On photography: I’ve always loved photography - the use of light and form to tell a story. From the simple holiday snap that captures a memory, a style celebrated by the likes of Martin Parr, to the engulfing works of artists such as Edward Burtynsky. Photography tells a story of the photographer and the moment he captures.
