Originally from the former East German Republic, Swinda’s venture into dance, ballet, theater, costume and couture design began as a passion since her childhood growing up in theater and sleeping backstage). She studied Costume Design in East Berlin and graduated as a Master of Costume Tailoring and Design. After graduating, she went on to work in Europe for opera, theater, dance, television and film, including Komische Oper Berlin, Gasteig, Munich, Hebbel theater and many more, Berlin/ Munich/ Montpellier/Dresden and several traveling theater groups throughout Europe.
