Strong Communities Work aims to educate New York residents on important social and economic justice matters affecting our very own communities, share creative and data-driven solutions, and offer a dialogue of hope and change.
We are at a crucial turning point. Awareness of economic, racial and social injustice continues to rise among Americans, and more people are willing to protest and speak up on behalf of those who suffer. Politics have become messier than ever, and citizens are pushing back against the corruption seen in government at all levels, and in the business world. We want accountability. We want change. We want fairness for all, where everyone is given an opportunity to succeed to the best of their ability. And we’re willing to do our part to get there – to participate in a movement of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
