I'm a PhD candidate at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and University of Cambridge (Clare Hall college) specialised in big data biology.
In Ewan Birney's research group I am focussing on understanding non-coding variation using genome-wide molecular assays, like FAIRE and CTCF, onto Human cell line populations. Another research interest is identification of whole-body phenotypes in Human MRI scans.
Next to my academic career I'm the co-founder of Rijschoolvergelijker. The largest driving school comparison website in the Netherlands with European ambitions.
