A graduate of Pitzer College, Sy Simms is currently a Program Coordinator at UC Riverside's Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center. Prior to this he was the Graduate Connections intern at the LGBT Resource Center at the University of California, San Diego. Sy is also one of the staff members and facilitators of T*Camp - an intercampus retreat for trans*/genderqueer and gendernon conformining students.

An avid foodie, Sy likes to spend his free time in the kitchen experimenting with different spices or in resturants trying new foods.
