While growing up, I have always looked up to my father, Randy Alifeld. My dad took over a family-owned industrial chemical company and grew it into a successful sales organization of over 100 employees. Watching my father running and managing his own business has inspired me to one day create my own enterprise. From a very early age, I have always had a strong interest in business. When I was 7 years old I remember selling products to my father’s staff: stress-relieving bouncy balls to relax them and Silly Bandz for their children. In fifth grade, I became a professional lemonade and cookie stand manager, setting up in my friends’ neighborhoods because they received more traffic. However, my first real experience in the business world was when I was in ninth grade. I followed my sister's footsteps and was offered a job as a cashier and waiter for a local restaurant. Business has always been a passion of mine. My keen interest in entrepreneurialism sponsors my interest in understanding how my father has not only largely impacted my life, but has also contributed significantly to his community through his prosperous business. My dad always believes that if you help people get what they want, they will help you get what you want. I have seen the way Randy lives his life and my ultimate goal is to follow the example that he sets for me. I hope to honor his legacy by treating everyone with kindness and generosity, the way that Randy always treats his employees.
