Syam Satya is an Indian film editor and assistant director from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is an alumnus of the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, where he specialized in film editing.

Syam began his career in the film industry as the Associate Editor for the Malayalam feature film Pookkaalam (2023) . He continued his work as an Associate Editor in Padakkalam (2025), Kaalante Thangakudam (2025). and served as the Director's Assistant in Kaalante Thangakudam (2025).

Beyond feature films, Syam Satya has contributed to various short films, documentaries, and music videos. He directed a musical video titled Parayathenno and has experience in live online editing for multi-camera setups in news, music, and sports productions .
