Sybil Robson Orr

Sybil Robson Orr began her career in the news business as a reporter and television anchor at network affiliates in the US and ABC News in Paris. Paramount Television brought her to Los Angeles to launch a nationally syndicated consumer watchdog program. She established her own production company Robson Entertainment in 1990 followed by a producer's deal at Universal Studios and a series of documentaries on the wars for independence in sub-Sahara Africa.

She currently produces and directs documentaries and feature films from offices in Los Angeles and London including the award-winning film BLINDSIGHT about 6 blind Tibetan teenagers climbing a 23,000 foot mountain in the Himalayas. She is currently in production with Warren Beatty on the untitled Howard Hughes project starring Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Lily Collins and Matthew Broderick.

Sybil's philanthropic focus is on famine relief in sub-Sahara Africa with a Valid Nutrition operated RUTF plant in Malawi and another about to be built in India.
