My name is Sydney Engelhardt. I am currently a sophomore at Towson University with a major in mass communications with a track in journalism and new media. I plan on graduating in the spring of 2017. My writing experience includes being a contributing writer for my college newspaper, The Towerlight. I am also involved in an online magazine on campus called Her Campus. In high school I was involved in the school newspaper and literary magazine. While involved in these clubs I was an editor and contributing writer. This experience has made me familiar with deadlines, newspaper writing style, interviews and proofreading techniques. I have also used wordpress to create blogs for my mass communications classes. My future ambition is to enter the field of magazine or newspaper writing. I want to be a staff writer or journalists and eventually become an editor.
