Sydney Mayeux

Currently in my last semester at the University of North Texas, seeking a degree in Strategic Communications; emphasis on public relations and a minor in business. I am hoping to work in the sports industry post graduation.

I am currently a media relations intern with the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League. In the past, I have worked with the Fort Worth Brahmas of the Central Hockey League as well as their communications intern. Who would have thought a girl born and raised in Louisiana would have such an intense passion for hockey? Prior to both internships, I coached gymnastics for seven years.

I think it's safe to say that sports is my passion and I'm a firm believer in loving what you do. I wish I traveled more, Puerto Vallarta is my favorite vaction spot. Give me a sunset on the beach with a game playing in the background, and I'm set.
