My name is Sydney Rubin. I am from Portland, Oregon. Although I was born in Los Angeles, I am a true Portland girl. I am a sophomore Journalism major at the University of Texas at Austin. My interests include writing, photography, sports and fashion. After a lifetime of aspiring to be a surgeon, I recently discovered that I have a true passion for writing and reporting. I hope to go into a career in the sports industry. I have experience working for Nike and have had the opportunity to meet many professional athletes.
