Sydney Cayley

Student in Ottawa, Ontario

I am a second-year Engineering Physics student at Queen’s University with a strong interest in technology, systems engineering, and problem solving. My experience includes programming in Python, C, and C++, developing hardware-software systems, and working on engineering design projects ranging from environmental monitoring systems to battery management systems.

I enjoy building practical solutions that combine software, electronics, and mechanical systems. Currently, I contribute to the Queen’s Rocket Engineering Team, where I work on the design and fabrication of rocket structures in a collaborative engineering environment.

I am particularly interested in opportunities where technology, data, and large-scale systems intersect, and I am always looking to learn from challenging technical problems.
