After a few email exchanges with him, and scouting the internet, I found all I wanted to get every thing ordered.
Considering how eleventh hour the look was, the trip came off smoothly. There were only a few details to think about, namely that I needed to accomplish it cheap and be in a lot of diving at least 2 tanks per day. Oh, and I needed to eat some fresh shrimp.
The very best diving on St. Croix, is on the renowned Wall that runs across the north shore for about 7 miles approximately. With this specific in mind I discovered lodging at a little, 9 space lodge at Cane Bay that will be just west of the mid-point of the north side. The hotel is built right on the shore, which can be rugged when this occurs, and all rooms face the water. The views are outstanding with St. Thomas and St. John visible on the horizon, and the ever-present sound of the waves crashing on the stones.
