Welcome to WSU! I am one of the many Alive! Student Orientation Counselors for summer 2015 and am very excited to welcome new Cougars to the family!
GROWING UP: When I "grow up" I want to be able able to use my creativity to be a graphic designer, advertiser, and marketer, but most importantly I want to live simply and happily.
WSU TIDBITS:
- Why I chose Washington State University: WSU embodies school spirit beyond imaginable (GO COUGS), Pullman is a tight knit family and community, we value academics as well as becoming well-rounded individuals, and the campus is beautiful (and a workout...).
- Advice for new students: Become involved in diverse groups of people. Try new things, join groups you previously couldn't or haven't before, and find new passions and people who will join you in those experiences.
- Advice for new Cougar parents: Let your student(s) find their way. College is about learning to grow, and sometimes that means giving your student the chance to breathe, make mistakes, take chances, and push themselves as individuals. Around mid-terms, swoop in and check in on your student. Care packages are always exciting, no matter how small.
