Sydney Harwell

Volunteer and Consultant in Littleton, Colorado

I'm a medical anthropologist with a background in museum exhibit design, libraries, doulas, and medical herbalism. Food justice and food security needs, migrant health, and maternal health needs were my focus in school, but alternative health and healing are my drive. I hope to one day apply to naturopathic doctoral programs for family practice, obstetrics, IV therapy, and autoimmune disorders.

For now, I like digging in gardens, experimenting with gluten-free and dairy-free cooking, stitching, sewing, knitting, and playing with acrylics. I thrive in creative environments, find daydreaming extremely productive, and feel spunky researching recipes, healing modalities, inappropriate cross stitching, and new ways to make friends with my sewing machine (and my great-grandmother's).
