Sydney V

I enjoy writing very much and have never found myself having problems with the process of coming up with ideas, though when it comes to actually composing the piece, I would compare my writing to a car running out of gas, this vehicle that started just roaring with energy, but slowly, over the course of a few pages, fades out, losing the momentum and spark that once fueled it. I get bored, restless, dissatisfied and lazy, so whatever I’m writing loses steam and just becomes a string of flat sentences that aren’t revved up and ready to go anywhere, but just the last few efforts before a dead stop. Except unlike the alert drivers that know that the vehicle they were so enthusiastically driving is losing gas, I don’t take the time to gas up and continue on—I just let the piece limp along until it eventually just stops.
