Sydnie Bill

Hi! My name is Sydnie Bill, and I am a Teacher Assistant at Richlands Elementary. I work with the and this is my third year as a T.A. in Onslow County, and I absolutely love it! In addition to being a Teacher Assistant at Richlands Elementary, I am the Colorguard choreographer and coach at Southwest High School. I love working with a variety of ages, and find my work with elementary and high school kids rewarding.

This summer I married my husband, David, an EOD Tech in the Marine Corps and we are expecting our first child in July. We live in Jacksonville, which is also where I grew up. Most of my family lives around the area and we all enjoy spending time at the beach.

I began my college career at ECU in the fall of 2002 and transfered to Appalachian State University where I graduated with a B.S. in Communication. I knew shortly after graduation that teaching held my heart so I persued a job as a teacher assistant while I headed back once again to ECU for my North Carolina Teaching License.

I am a bookworm, and enjoy reading lighthearted books and historical fiction. Of course, right now I am devouring all books related to pregnancy and have recently finished reading Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy.

I enjoy finding new websites that encourage teachers to share their ideas and experiences. I will include a few of my favorites!
