Bangalore,Karnataka,India.

A social worker and a political activist from Bangalore,Karnataka. I joined politics in the year 1994.

Due to my strong belief in secularism and principles of my ideal Shri Rajiv Gandhi, his vision of a progressive, modern, young India, untainted by the scourge of poverty and illiteracy and his belief in the youth thus prompting him to reduce the voters age to 18 years made him a legendary visionary, I decided to join the Indian National Congress.

I started my political career by joining NSUI, where in I worked in different capacities for the welfare and rights of the student community. From there I gradually got promoted to the Youth Congress. Here I have been working on different issues in the interest of general public and the youth at large. I have been an active participant in most of the Congress Party programs, agitations and various other campaigns. Being a loyal Congressman I have been fighting aggressively and working for victory the party in all the General Elections, Assembly Elections and other Local Body Elections since 1994.

I have been trying to make a meaningful contribution towards building a happy and a healthy society. I have been supporting various governmental and non governmental organisations and promoting their programs in the interest of the general public.

One of my dreams is that of a healthy India, and to transform this into a reality I have organised and been actively involved with innumerable health camps like, blood donation campaigns, eye campaigns, AIDS awareness campaigns, drug awareness campaigns, dental health care campaigns, polio drive campaigns etc coz these activities give me immense sense of satisfaction and moreover my belief is that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation.

Have also been vociferously fighting against child labour, child trafficking, human rights abuse, women’s rights etc
