Syirah Jusni
Syirah is a rising star who is gaining rapid recognition in the local entertainment scene. She was the female winner of Anugerah Skrin 2010 and has since been engaged as a Mediacorp Suria artiste. Most recently, Syirah was busy filming the first ever 3D movie 29 Februari with KRU Productions in Malaysia, as well as hosting several Mediacorp programmes such as Selepas Jam 12 and Pesca Perdana.
While juggling her commitments in her fledgling entertainment career, Syirah is also pursuing her Diploma in Customer Service & Relationship Management at Republic Polytechnic.
An active CeMTA member in her years at ITE, Syirah was involved in numerous performances with the ITE Show Choir and played main roles in musical productions Grease and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Coat. Syirah was quick to share that her experiences in CeMTA gave her the confidence and courage to reach greater heights in her artistry in performing arts. To her, the most precious takeaway of being part of CeMTA was the numerous friends who shared her passion for singing and dancing and performing.
