Sylvia Cole

My name is Sylvia Cole, and I’ve been kicking around on this planet for 70+ years. I was born in Vancouver BC, Canada.

Around 1950, my parents heard there was warm weather and opportunity in Glendale, CA. USA…so we moved.

My adult career took me through Glendale Community College, then to various jobs, usually in accounting, the last one for 25 years.

As things change, so did the economy. I found myself unemployed, as did many. So, after attending classes (6 months) I tested for, and became a CA Certified Real Estate Appraiser, therefore self-employed.

Retirement was next on my agenda, but with a twist... Still in business, self-employed and thrilled with Life!
