Sylvia Safari

Sylvia Safari is a gospel artiste from Kenya, determined to impact the world with a melodious form of the gospel of Christ Jesus. She specializes in a variety of African genres of music sometimes fusing them together and with other genres to conjure a package of exceptional tunes.

She started singing since she could remember and has heard stories of afore from members of family of her musical childhood. Her mother would teach her choruses and she would lead family members and friends during family gatherings. She finally got that touch of vocal training from her primary school music and choir teacher and went ahead to participate in both choir singing and solos in primary school. Sylvia started composing a bit more stably in high school where she would sing for the school during events and Sunday services. She was also a member of the schools drama where she choreographed the song and dances along with the other members.

Sylvia made the decision to give her life to Christ in October 2011 and finally decided to sing for Him officially in late 2012. She finally found someone worth refining and spreading her gift for the sake of His Gospel.
