Sylvie Verwaayen

In my over 20 years of working in the design and teaching field, I realize that it all comes down to one main truth, my strength is in my relationship building with others.

I can still design but my heart is looking for a position where I can be in a collaborative environment undertaking creative endeavours. I am a mentor, facilitator, hand holder and problem solver. I find joy in understanding other's "pain" and figuring out how to fix it. I have had some clients recently where I did just that and it was so challenging and well worth it. That spoke volumes to me that it is my passion.

I have been creating graphic designs since my teens. I am passionate about layout, fonts, the visual vocabulary and how to implement ideas through print and web.

I also am an eager learner of new technologies and methods, always wanting to keep up with the latest trends. I have been active with social media since 2013 and continue to connect with like minded people.

I am a life long learner who, also as an instructor, believe that we all need to support and elevate each other.
