Stoichiometry

Come learn chemistry with me! Today, we will be learning about two very essential chemistry concepts: the mole and stoichiometry. These were some of my favorite topics to learn in chemistry, so I am very excited to teach them to you! Whether you’ve already learned about the mole and need a little more help or if you want to get ahead of the game and learn about it on your own, this video is great for you. I will be teaching it from the ground up, making sure to explain everything thoroughly while touching on past lessons of naming ionic compounds, balancing equations, and understanding the difference between atomic structures of elements. I will be focusing more on the mole than on stoichiometry today because there is just so much to cover that I have to make two videos. For this video, you will need a calculator because we will be working with some difficult multiplication and division. Get ready to feel like a math whiz and a chemist because after this video, you’ll be solving problems that looked impossible to you before. You will be able to predict the mass of products, measure extremely large amounts of particles, and know exactly how many particles are in any given sample of a chemical.
