I'm a craft junkie! If a project allows me to express my creative spirit, I'll probably give it a try and instanty fall in love, too. In addition to the arts, I love writing and can be long-winded, at times. I am, also, an adventurous explorer who loves to take leaps of faith! Lately, I am intrigued by textile design and pattern collecting. In fact, I am so into ethnic textile design that I opened, www.globalthings.biz, where I sell mostly West African fabric and other interesting things. The combination of my formal education, training and work experience is in scenic and costume design, a little fashion and interior design; plus teaching, too.. In those fields I have learned and practiced so many skills that I just felt compelled to share some projects and adventures with you.

Most importantly, now that I am a Mommy who believes in attachment parenting, I am fascinated with sharing family traditions and experiences with my readers. So, guess what?! I have a Trio of Baking Ballerinas; yeppers, they are mini-kitchen-chemists! Just as my list of interests tend to be eclectic and numerous, my "BB's" are captivating with their unexpected, yet amazing array of wonders, adventures and joys they bring to my life!!!
