My name is Terri Bailey and I am a student in the Distance Learning program at the University of Alabama. This program is allowing me to complete a bachelor of arts degree in Community Studies while working full time. After many years I am excited to have the opportunity to finish my college degree. I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I moved away and lived twenty three years in Florida, California and Virginia with my husband, a career United States Navy sailor. After he retired we returned to Tuscaloosa so our only child, a daughter could attend the University of Alabama. It was during her four successful years at the university that a spark was ignited in me and the realization that I could go "Back to Bama". One of my proudest moments as a mother was when she walked across the stage to receive her diploma and has since obtained her master's degree. I am looking forward to finishing my degree in the very near future and can not wait to walk across the stage at Coleman Coliseum and receive my diploma.

I currently work full time at a local credit union as a Member Service Associate. I enjoy working with people and helping to educate them with our products and services. I enjoy traveling with my family, reading a good book, watching movies and trying new restaurants when visiting our daughter and her husband in Atlanta, Georgia.

I am so excited for my future, my education and other opportunities that I may encounter in my "Golden Years".

"IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN"

"Live, Laugh, and Love" is the way I want to spend my life.
