My name is Thiago Silva and I'm a freelance English to Brazilian Portuguese translator based in Brazil.

With about 7 years of experience in the field, I've translated technical stuff ranging from clinical trials to financial reports, but most of my work experience nowadays consists in working around journalistic texts as well as some marketing materials for VICE Magazine's Brazilian HQ, especially tech-related material for MOTHERBOARD and music articles for NOISEY, with some subtitling work thrown into the mix as well.

I have a background in copywriting and actually spent sometime working in-house at a local company coordinating online and offline campaigns, did some social media work too and hope that this experience can cater your needs somehow.
