Sports have always been apart of my life. My father played college basketball at George Washington and my brother played college basketball at Harvard University. I have always been passionate about sports. I spoke about Title IX and it’s affect on men’s sports in front of over a hundred people.

I have gained valuable skills and knowledge of the discipline of public relations.For example, as a member of the women’s basketball team at Quinnipiac I have learned what it is like to be apart of a team and work well with others. Myexperience as a division I athlete has helped me to retain information andapply it when needed. I worked as a Sports Marketing and Promotions intern at Harvard University. After college I want to pursue a career in the sports industry either marketing, public relations, or management.
