I am in the midst of my senior year at Illinois State University, eager to make the most of my final college days. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, and am excited to utilize what I have learned in the classroom in my future career.

I spend most of my time diving into the local music scene as I intern at The Castle Theatre. My duties include photographing, blogging pre-show promos and post-show reviews, and controlling social media outlets such as Twitter and Instagram. The experience has been amazing thus far and has fueled my ambition to reside in the world of entertainment communication.

Balancing multiple jobs while being a full time student is strenuous but has given me the ability to broaden my horizons and adapt comfortably to different environments.

Related Projects: Worked with three other students in the launch of isucore.com, a website designated to the official student organization for fans of progressive metal, hardcore, and pop punk music genres. I am a part of ISU Core's Press, Publicity, and Journalism team, where I am able to write blog posts as a contribution to the website.
