Jon Amory Taber (born August 19th, 1984 in Santiago, Chile), grew up in Waikari, a small town in the northern Canterbury region on New Zealand. He attended Waipara Primary school before continuing with education in Christchurch; first at Medbury School, then Christ's College, followed by Canterbury University where he sutided corporate finance and investment banking.

After University Taber moved to the United states to continue his education. Shortly after, he moved to Azerbaijan to be with family.
