Hello, I’m Ta'Briea Johnson. I am from Washington, District of Columbia. I am the only girl of four. I am the second youngest.
I graduated in 2015 from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School with a 3.3 GPA in Washington, D.C. I now attend North Carolina Central University. I will be graduating May 2019 with my undergrad and heading back to school to continue my education and pursue a career in becoming a physical therapist, hopefully ending with success. I sometimes find it odd that I chose this field or have ant interest in sports when my hand-eye coordination is not that great.
I have learned in life you have to set a specific goal for a specific time to achieve it. Just saying you're going to do it is not enough to accomplish.
I tell myself everyday I will graduate college. I had to take an unfortunate pause for a semester however, I am back. I will do what I have to do to graduate successfully. More than just graduating with decent grades, with A grades, leaving professors with someone to refer others to. At this very moment I am enrolled in two summer classes just to start my way to getting back on track.
I truly believe education cannot be taken from you, there are different routes for an education . Choose the one for you and make sure it is the right one for you.
