Tafadzwa Makara is a Youth Development Advocate, Sustainable Development enthusiast, and Civic Leader based in Harare Zimbabwe.
Having devoted about seven (7) years to Development practice, Civic Leadership, Youth Advocacy, and Natural Resources Management.
Through his various engagements, Tafadzwa strongly believes that young people are pivotal to the development of Africa, and as such should be well equipped and granted the institutional opportunities, through which they can advance the cause of their immediate communities. He is a member of Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Network, a platform through which he focuses on capacity development for young people.
Tafadzwa has written many papers, which include "Climate-Induced migration, implications on political instability, and livelihoods security. The Need for radical policy intervention and humanitarian intervention"
"Digital transformation of education in theGlobal South under Covid-19: Implications on access and inclusion".
Tafadzwa Makara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Great Zimbabwe University
My interests range from hiking to politics. I am also interested in travel, technology, and writing.
