Not everyone knows what they want to do when they grow up but I did. My love affair with media and content began at the age of 10 when I first debuted as a correspondent on the nationally syndicated TBS/CNN children's news show "Real News for Kids." The glossy pages of print, the majesty of radio, the glory of television, the authenticity of live events and the sexy swagger of digital all have a special place in my heart – and because of that I consider myself a champion of integrated marketing. I launched my career as a new media expert determined to drive innovation in old media companies and achieved great success in identifying new technologies, creating strategic partnerships and collaborating with designers, developers, project managers and editors to pitch and execute unique integrated programs.
I believe in leaving everything I touch better than I found it. I love technology and totally nerd out experimenting with emerging new media platforms. I know how to monetize the relationships I have – whether its through leveraging their influencer status to create custom content or identifying partnerships that will yield positive brand recognition or increased revenue. I am the brain behind sales and I'm the first person you should grab to brainstorm for new business efforts. I'm respected for my secret sauce of creative storytelling because I think like an editor/content creator and see campaigns as opportunities to position brands as heroes to their target audiences. I'm passionate about what I do and look at everything through the lens of "wouldn't it be cool if?" I love working with companies (especially startups) that will enable me to take their business to the next level by combining all of my passions.
