Tag Campaigns

Tag Campaigns Ltd conducted face to face fundraising campaigns on behalf of a wide selection of national and international charities. Tag Campaigns Ltd was registered in England. Tag Campaigns was established in 2006 and since its inception Tag Campaigns developed a reputation for innovation. Tag Campaigns had particular experience in the field of street-based fundraising. Although the idea of street-based face to face fundraising had been around for some time before Tag Campaigns started operating, it was Tag Campaigns who introduced various innovations to improve the street-based fundraising concept.

The idea of street-based fundraising (similar to the type of campaign conducted by Tag Campaigns) first became popular in the mid 1990s. One of the first organisations to mount a successful street-based campaign was Greenpeace Austria. This charity had already embarked upon a face to face fundraising campaign. The tactic adopted by Greenpeace Austria was to position its fundraisers in areas were there were large numbers of people. Those fundraisers could then move from one potential donor to the next without wasting time moving from location to location. Tag Campaigns adopted this method.

Tag Campaigns adopted a number of other procedures in order to improve the street-based face to face fundraising approach. Tag Campaigns recognised that this method of fundraising was particularly effective at securing donations from adults under 40 years of age. In response to this, Tag Campaigns adapted its staff selection and training process to ensure that its representatives were likely to be able to effectively engage with individuals within this particular demographic. Tag Campaigns also ensured that its representatives were provided with comprehensive information about the particular charity the company is seeking to promote. This was designed to bring about a number of benefits. Individuals were more likely to agree to make a donation if Tag Campaigns employees were able to engage with them and provide interesting background information about the charity. This also served to increase overall awareness of the charity.
