Turki Alghamdi

Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Turki Alghamdi received his BSc from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi (2003). He served for one year as a TA in the Computer Science Department, Umm Alqura University Saudi. He received his MSc (Distributed Systems and Networks) from Hertfordshire University, UK (2006), PhD from the Department of Computing, Bradford University, UK (2011). During his PhD studies, he developed novel algorithms utilize bandwidth as the direct QoS criterion to select routing paths. Integrated Delay Based Routing and Admission Control mechanism have also been suggested. Using this technique several localised algorithms have been integrated and analysed in order to develop the scalability of QoS routing.

After completing his PhD he joined Umm AlQura University,College of Computer and Information system, Saudi as an assistant professor and has been teaching various subjects related to network communications.
