Human Rights, Social Protection, and International NGOs in Paris

Taha Metwally is an Egyptian human rights and social protection professional based in France, with experience in education, international cooperation, and minority rights.

He currently works with France Horizon, where he is involved in coordinating social support services for migrants, asylum seekers, and people in vulnerable situations, using a rights-based and inclusive approach.

In parallel, he work with Minority Rights Group International, supporting advocacy, research, and capacity-building initiatives related to minority rights and international protection frameworks.

Taha is a co-founder of ANKH, an association defending minority rights in Southwest Asia and North Africa (SWANA), and has experience engaging with international and regional mechanisms, including United Nations processes and regional policy spaces.
