I am a systems thinker with an inconvenient habit of asking, “Why does it work this way?” and an even more inconvenient habit of trying to fix it.

My path has moved through engineering, technology, product leadership, entrepreneurship, research, and education. The titles changed; the pattern did not. I explore complex systems, connect ideas that were apparently never introduced to each other, and turn ambiguity into something people can actually use.

I am equally comfortable shaping a strategy, testing an academic idea, mentoring a student, or disappearing into a technical problem that was confidently described as “a quick fix.”

Curiosity gets me started, but execution keeps me honest. I care about thoughtful technology, meaningful innovation, and building things that respect the humans expected to use them, which remains a surprisingly ambitious standard.

In simple terms, I learn, connect, build, and occasionally improve systems that were deeply committed to pretending they were already fine.
