Taheera Walji

I am passionate about how numbers and narratives intersect to shed light on the health and well-being of communities. My enthusiasm for using data and asking the right questions fuels my desire to contribute to evidence-informed initiatives which are impact driven, led by communities and rooted in addressing the broader determinants of health.

I have seven years of progressive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating complex public health programs at local, provincial, national and international organizations. Currently, I am a Global Health Consultant based in Toronto, ON, Canada where I am supporting clients with proposal development, report writing, and work planning.

My interests range from health equity to international development and social justice. Aside from designing logic models and creating SMART indicators, I love reading, trying new cafes and restaurants, and practicing yoga.
