Tahina Rabezanahary

Tahina is a strategic leader with more than 23 years of experience leading the successful implementation of the largest ($160 million +) and most complex international development projects with Plan International, Canadian Red Cross and Oxfam-Québec. She is currently a Deputy Director at Global Affairs Canada (GAC) bringing partners perspective in GAC first ever department-wide modernization.
Tahina is highly experienced in organizational strategy development, operational and financial planning, grant proposals, program management, donor compliance and talent management. She also has certifications and experience in global health and methodologies such as agile approach, product management and human-centered design thinking.
Originally from Antananarivo, Madagascar, Tahina obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Université de Moncton and her Postgraduate Certificate in Global Health from the University of Manchester.
Tahina believes that when women coach other women, they create a powerful support network that fosters growth, empowerment, and career advancement. She advocates that by promoting coaching between women, it's about investing in a brighter, more empowered future for all.
She dedicates her time as mentor and advisor to various organizations in Ontario focused on women's empowerment such as the Prosperity project, Elevate International, InnovYeng Entrepreneuriat Feminin, Catalyst Venture and the Fora Network for Change. She is a member of Volunteer Ottawa Board of Directors.
She is the Chief Ewpowerment Officer (CEO) of Femina Coaching, a boutique coaching firm for women seeking empowerment, career growth, and seamless integration into Canadian work culture.
