Tahryn Mant

Hello! I'm Tahryn and I'm a journalism student at Deakin University. After graduating from secondary school, I aspired to become a nurse and studied a nursing course for two years before realising it was not for me. Although I did not complete the course, I learnt various skills that I'm sure will come in handy down the track. Before leaving school, I was faced with a challenging decision to choose between my passion for Nursing and health care or Journalism. After attempting nursing, it was only natural to choose Journalism as a career path and I'm glad I did! I love the course and one day I hope to become a broadcast journalist.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family especially over a good meal, and playing with my two dogs Scooter and Poppy. If you have nothing better to do, feel free to read my blog!
