Tai Chi is a fascinating puzzle that takes patience to solve. I studied Tai Chi for 12 years before earning the opportunity to teach my own students. My goal is to take you from a seeming puzzle to an exercise integrating movement and meaning.

For centuries, the flowing, meditative movements of Tai Chi have been practiced to cultivate and maintain health. Tai Chi employs precise physical movement, visualization and focused internal awareness to strengthen, relax and integrate the body and mind. "Tai Chi in Ottawa" is your opportunity to learn Yang Style Tai Chi (also Taiji or Taijiquan) in a friendly relaxed atmosphere with an experienced teacher. Students are welcome to meet and greet in a pleasant lobby area before the class begins.

Come try a Yang Style Tai Chi class for all levels - beginner to advanced. If you like the class, you can register for a full session (normally 13 weeks) through Dovercourt Community Centre. Classes are offered year-round except in July and August. Classes last one and a half hours.
