Taina Reyes

I am currently a student at Texas Tech University in the College of Human Sciences pursuing a B.S in Human Development and Family Studies. My interests include education and volunteering to name a couple - but my biggest passion is traveling. My dream is to have a career that can combine all three.

This past summer I had the opportunity to study abroad at Universidad Pontificia in the culturally rich city of Salamanca, Spain. During my time there, I did fieldwork with elementary students at a bilingual school where I strengthened my Spanish communication skills.

Teaching Philosophy:

My goal as a teacher is to foster a learning community that encourages lifelong learning and embodies acceptance and mutual respect. I believe that children learn best when they feel they are loved and cared for holistically.
