He was a professor at Hongik University’s Fine Arts College before focusing entirely on his artistic career. His work centers on themes like "light" and "life," exploring the philosophical and ontological significance of light as a source of existence. Jung expresses these ideas through various media, including painting, drawing, and installation art.

He has held numerous solo exhibitions in prestigious venues, including Donhwamun Gallery, Pont des Arts Gallery, and even the National Assembly of Korea. His series titled "The Language of Light" reflects his long-standing contemplation on the role of light in revealing the existence and essence of objects in the universe.

His art reflects a deep spiritual and intellectual engagement with how light functions as both a metaphor for life and a literal element of creation.
