Tala A-Salam

My name is Tala. I'm a 17 year old girl from Syria and Canada. I can speak Arabic, French, English and I'm not so bad at Spanish. I currently study in a French school in Saudi Arabia.

I'll hopefully be graduating from high school next summer and I wish to pursue my education in different places, but Canada would be my number one choice.

My camera is my best friend: I carry it with me everywhere I go and "the best camera is the one that you have": I remember when I took photography classes during summer 2012, our counselor mentioned this quote which means that if you face a very nice scenery or an alien just landed on earth for example, the best camera would of course be the one that you have with you even if it's a phone camera. I always the type of kid that would "steal" my parents' camera to film everyone and everything that I see in front of me. I just like taking a lot of pictures and videos of any event because I know that, one day, I'll look back and remember the good old times (even if, at the time, this specific event didn't mean to me that much).

When I have time, I like to watch movies, edit pictures and videos, and my favourite thing to do on friday mornings (which is the 1st day of the weekend in this country) is to watch howm videos with the family. I also am quite the sporty type: I like to play tennis, badminton, basketball, biking, rock climbing,...
