Talia Clack

Underclassmen Honor Society at Ronald Reagan High School during her freshman and sophomore years. While she continues her excellent academic performance and seeks to become a member of the National Honor Society for the school year of 2011-2012, she also participates in a number of extracurricular activities. As a Squad Leader for the school’s Charmers Pep Squad during her Freshman year, Talia Clack led a team of 18 girls. As Staff Reporter for the school’s online newspaper, the Recorder, she also contributes to the journalism group as Social Director. In addition, Talia Clack is on the Reagan Silver Star Drill Team which competes locally, statewide, and nationally, including participation in the team's 2010 and 2011State Championship routines. Talia Clack volunteers at Christian Family Church International in San Antonio as a Children’s Minister and has logged more than 200 hours of service in the past two years. She also has volunteered for Meals On Wheels and is a member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, which provides her with a host of engagement opportunities in community projects. With a talent for writing and journalism, Talia Clack also functions as the Co-editor for the organization’s teen newsletter. At Barbara Bush Middle School, Talia Clack held membership in the National Junior Honor Society of Secondary Schools and maintained excellent grades in all of her courses, including pre-Advanced Placement classes. Outside of her coursework, she has appeared in a number of dramatic productions such as Aladdin, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and Don Quixote, which took third place in a drama competition. She also won ribbons for her participation in speech contests. Talia Clack earned additional distinction as a “Bulldog with Pride” through a school program that recognizes students who conduct themselves in a professional manner. Furthermore, she received certification from the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center for her completion of its peer-mediation training program.
