Natalie Rodriguez

Durham, North Carolina

Natalie L Rodriguez was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and raised in the Durham with both her parent and two sisters. Fall 2010 she entered The University of North Carolina of Greensboro. While attending she was a Art Education major with a minor in history. Realizing art was more so a hobby for her she changed her major to History. November 1st 2012 Natalie L Rodriguez daughter Julianna Rodriguez-Hart entered the world. As a single mother Natalie was determined to finish her degree so she could provide for her family. Natalie came back home to Durham, North Carolina to finish her degree. She transferred from University of North Carolina of Greensboro to North Carolina Central University as a History major. She finished her first semester as a full time student and mom with a 4.0 and continues to always strive for academic success. She has recently been selected by the NCCU administration to join The National Society of Leadership and success, Sigma Alpha Pi. When she receives her degree she hopes to work in D.C for Smithsonian’s.
