ARTIST STATEMENT

My strongest voice communicates through my art, where the images I create interpret personal experiences, life lessons, and my deepest thoughts.

I’ve spent my life interested in art and design, learning and trying new techniques to express a variety of meanings that are aesthetically pleasing. Although my most successful work is in painting and drawing, I experiment with plaster/clay sculpting, as well as graphic design.

My passion is working with color, to specifically influence the mood of the piece, as well as focusing on light and shadow to create depth in perspective.
