Listen to my music

Born on a dairy farm, under the beautiful Mount Taranaki in New Zealand, Internationally, Tali is considered to be one of the most prolific Female MC/Freestylers to emerge from the electronic dance music scene.
After moving to the UK in 2001 to pursue an interest in MCing and Drum n Bass music, She went on to work with some of the genres biggest names, including being signed to Drum n Bass legend Roni Size's 'Full Cycle' Imprint in 2004 and releasing the first ever MC driven album in Drum n Bass. Tali worked with some of the biggest names in DnB and toured the world as both an MC and at times with a live band.
However, unbeknownst to many, since the age of nine Tali has been a singer and songwriter, composing her own music and lyrics. Classically trained from a young age in both piano and singing, Tali was inspired by Jazz, Soul, Blues, Show tunes and Rap music, creating a unique concoction of material.
Last year Tali released her first independently produced album ‘Wolves’ - produced, written and performed all by Tali (released April 17th 2015) While there are hints of her MCing prowess on some of the tunes, her soulful voice and clever lyrical content are the stars of this album. She has also just recently released a new single "How To Get High" with a NZ On Air funded music video, part of a new forthcoming EP due for release in 2016.

Tali continues to MC up and down the country and abroad, and has collaborated with several Kiwi and International artists from various genres over the past few years.

She is also part of the NZ Music Commission -In schools 'Music Mentor' program, an inspirational speaker and blog writer.
