Talitha Elbert

Hi there! I am a current student at Concordia University Nebraska and I am studying to become a high school educator. More importantly, I am hoping to become a life-long learner. I am extremely passionate about biology (specifically anatomy), other languages and cultures (especially Spanish), and my faith. I hope to weave all of these passions together as I pursue my vocation in life.

I grew up living the military life, so God has blessed me with many opportunities to go and travel all over the world and fully experience His creation. I'm not afraid to adapt to new settings, and through my adventures, I have become quite the social butterfly.

Here at Concordia, I am also blessed to be a part of the Track & Field team, the A Cappella choir, a student-led Praise band, and a member of the Praise (student-led worship) leadership board. I have mainained a 4.0 GPA, earning a place on the Dean's list, every semester thus far, and I am thankful that I have a campus job as a lab assistant that ties into my passion for science! To Him be all the glory!

I am who I am because of my faith. For, I have a Savior who loves me unconditionally, who makes His mercies known to me everyday, who never leaves me nor forsakes me, who guides and directs me in all of my ways, and who overflows my heart and soul with joy even in the dark times. He is my source of joy, truth, love, and life. He has made me glad.

I pray that through everything, God would lead me to set an example in "speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).
