I like to spend my free time scrapbooking, crafting, traveling, researching my family history, working on my blog and volunteering at the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial. At home I'm a wife, mother to a wonderful red-headed son, two feral cats and two Siberian Huskies. I enjoy being an insatiably curious lifetime learner, die-hard Sporting KC fan, and proud retired band geek (once a band geek, always a band geek!) I was born and raised in the KC area and can't imagine living anywhere else in the world, although I really like to travel and see new places. I'm a little bit redneck, Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western and a whole 'lotta proud middle of the road Midwestern!
